Classes are available 7 days a week with morning, noon, and evening classes. Public classes are hosted at The Commerce Center, 1099 Gum Branch Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
Companies can arrange private classes in in NC, SC, and VA.
Taught by a prior paramedic, these engaging classes give students plenty of time to practice the lifesaving skills of CPR.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
by American Heart Association (AHA)
The #1 certification for students/employees in the healthcare field.
Learn more nuanced CPR for pediatrics, and learn lifesaving techniques for respiratory emergencies. Practice CPR as a single-rescuer and as a part of a multi-rescuer team.
First Aid & CPR/AED
by American Red Cross (ARC)
Ideal for general interest, childcare employees, teachers, and captains.
Learn the fundamentals of CPR/AED for victims of all ages. The optional First Aid segment covers bleeding control, respiratory emergencies, overdoses, stroke, heart attacks, and other environmental emergencies.
Family & Friends CPR
by American Heart Association (AHA)
For general interest only - this class does NOT offer certification.
Learn the fundamentals of CPR/AED for victims of all ages. Includes choking.
$10. Students receive an AHA Family & Friends booklet and keychain faceshield.
Offered the first Sunday of each month, 1pm.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
by American Heart Association (AHA)
For advanced medical personnel.
Includes rapid manual defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, transcutaneous pacing, basic pharmacologic interventions, and basic airway interventions during cardiac arrest.
Recognize and manage ACS and STEMI, tachyarrhythmias and bradyarrhythmias.
Includes BLS certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
by American Heart Association (AHA)
For advanced medical personnel.
Includes rapid manual defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, transcutaneous pacing, basic pharmacologic interventions, and basic airway interventions during cardiac arrest.
Recognize and manage circulatory shock and respiratory emergencies.
Includes BLS certification.
