Frequently asked questions

All students will be performing CPR with the manikin on the floor. Dress modestly and comfortably. Wear hair up. Remove metal bracelets and bulky rings prior to class as they may damage the manikin.

Payment secures a student's seat in class, creates an online component, ensures class remains scheduled, an instructor available, and a room reserved. For this reason, all refunds are done as CLASS CREDIT. Prompt cancelation (immediately after registration) may allow for a monetary refund.

Cancelation/Rescheduling must be requested 2 HOURS PRIOR to the start of class. All cancelation/refunds are posted as CLASS CREDIT towards the student's email associated with CPR Mobile. The student can use that credit to register for another class.

MORE INFO

Why learn CPR?

Low-quality CPR does not save lives.

Hands-on classes offer students the ability to gain the confidence, knowledge, and muscle-memory required to perform high-quality CPR.

91% of out-of-hospital-cardiac-arrests are fatal. 73% of adult arrests happen at home.

Nearly half a million people die annually from cardiac arrest.

When a person's heart stops beating, cells start to die. Without high-quality CPR, cell death of the heart and brain becomes permanent. Death occurs within minutes.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) circulates and oxygenates blood to maintain life until advanced help arrives.

High-quality bystander CPR can be the difference between life and death.

Oftentimes, the heart's electrical circuit is malfunctioning and cannot coordinate a pumping action. An AED is used to help restore a normal electrical rhythm.

Early use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) can double the chance of survival from cardiac arrest.
