This registration is for American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

Please read thoroughly. By registering for class, you acknowledge you have read the following:


CLASS LOCATION

Clients are responsible for providing a physical address for hosting the training session.

STEP 1: REGISTRATION

  • INDIVIDUALS: register using the EXACT name and email to assign the certification to. Check your inbox for your confirmation, and reply with the class location.

  • GROUPS: use the name/email of the person responsible for organizing the class. Check registrant's inbox for the confirmation email, and reply with the class location, estimated class size, and roster (names, email addresses, and phone numbers unique to each student).

STEP 2: PAYMENT

After you provide your name/email at registration, you will be taken to a payment page.


INDIVIDUALS

  • Pay 100% online at checkout ($90)

GROUPS

  • The remaining balance will be invoiced after class.

COMPANIES

CERTIFICATION AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

To receive certification, AHA requires students to perform skills to a standard that demonstrates proficiency. Students must demonstrate proficiency with all BLS skills. This includes, but is not limited to, high quality compressions, high-quality ventilations with a bag-mask device, and cognitive understanding and application of BLS skills during cardiac and respiratory arrest in a single-rescuer and multi-rescuer team.
Inability to demonstrate proficiency during the scheduled class timeframe will result in the student marked as "incomplete/remediation needed" and the student will not receive a certification. Remediation/rescheduling is available IN ONSLOW COUNTY for $20 per student. No refunds.

CLASS FORMAT

NO ONLINE COMPONENT. If you would like, you can request access to an online component.

  • Students watch instructional videos regarding each specific topic.
  • Students choose their own teams and practice skills using peer-to-peer real-time corrective feedback.
  • Manikins with feedback devices help students find the correct compression tempo and depth.
  • Real-time practice scenarios offer adequate time for students to develop confidence and skills prior to scenario tests.

AHA Disclaimer:

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional material for this purpose. Use of these materials in an education course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.

AHA Book Requirement:

CPR MOBILE WILL PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH A PROVIDER MANUAL TO BE USED IN CLASS. The AHA states that students must own a 2020 AHA Provider Manual for the discipline of certification. The student must have a provider manual before, during, and after class. Although CPR Mobile will supply books to use during class, it is solely the student's responsibility to have a book before/after class. These books can also be purchased at cost ($20) from CPR Mobile.
