This is an official American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) skills portion of a blended class.

An online component is required for ACLS.




1. REGISTER

  • Use the student's EXACT NAME and EMAIL to assign the certification.
  • The student will receive a registration email titled "YOUR CPR CLASS DETAILS"; please review this email so you understand what preparation is required prior to class.

2. PAYMENT

After registration, you will be taken to a payment page. Select your certification(s) at checkout.


3. STUDY

  • This is an advanced course that requires significant investment from the student. Coming to class unprepared may result in the need for additional remediation and rescheduling fees.
  • Read your 2020 AHA Provider Manual.
  • To see the tested criteria, refer to the appendix of your 2020 Provider Manual.
    Review the bulleted points in your email labeled YOUR CPR CLASS DETAILS. ALL BULLETED CONTENT WILL BE TESTED FOR PROFICIENCY DURING CLASS.

4. REQUIRED ONLINE WORK FOR ACLS

Complete your required online work according to your desired certification(s)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  1. REQUIRED: AHA ACLS PreCourse Self-Assessment; this unlocks the PreCourse Work/Videos
  2. REQUIRED: AHA ACLS PreCourse Work/Videos. This content is unlocked after successful completion of the PreCourse Self-Assessment (there is no direct URL).

Expect to spend about ~4 hours with this online work

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

1. There is NO online component required for your BLS check-off.

Remember, this online work is not meant to be the sole method of preparation; students are also expected to study their 2020 Provider Manual. This is an advanced class that requires more than just a few hours of studying.


5. IN-PERSON SESSION

After completing the PreCourse Self-Assessment and PreCourse Work preparation, students are expected to come to class prepared for in-person skills, practice scenarios, and testing scenarios.
