This is a copy of the registration email you will soon receive. Be sure to review it and keep a capy for reference (your receipt may be attached to your email).

Review these requirements THOROUGHLY.

Lack of student preparation often leads to remediation/rescheduling.

Required ACLS Online Work (free)

1) PreCourse Quiz/Self-Assessment

2) PreCourse Work/Videos (no direct link; you must complete the Self-Assessment first)

Reply to your email with a copy of your certificate titled "ACLS PreCourse Preparation"

BLS: In-Person Requirements

1) Demonstrate In-Person BLS Requirements

2) If opting for a 10 minute BLS check-off, you do not need to complete any BLS online work.

Regardless of whether you need a BLS checkoff, if you are unable to demonstrate BLS understanding without instructor prompting, AHA recommends that you do not stay for the ACLS class and instead reschedule. Then, attend a 100% BLS class first. After completion of the BLS class, reschedule your ACLS class.
